Insecure Attachment

Insecure Attachment

When primary caregivers are absent (physically or emotionally) for prolonged periods of time throughout formative years it can create developmental deficits and insecure attachments.

 

These can manifest in the following ways:

 

Each attachment style will display different communicative functions observed through specific behaviours.
