Dance Live Work Shop - Portsmouth's Guildhall - October 2022
The preparations for Dance Live 2023, at the Guildhall, get underway...............
Miss Hepworth, Mrs Emery and Miss Moxham took myself and some other children from the Dance Live crew to the Portsmouth Guildhall to attend a workshop all about video editing and lighting to help us when preparing for Dance Live. We were shown how to edit videos using pictures, videos and green screen technology in the morning.
After we had eaten lunch, we got some fresh air and saw just how big the Portsmouth Guildhall is from the outside. Then we were shown how all the lights work in the theatre and how many colours we could use. There are lots of different lights that we can use, like spot and gobos.
The Dance Live staff were very helpful and kind and answered all of our questions. We had an awesome and amazing day, it was so much fun and we can’t wait to use all of our new skills to help enhance our Dance Live dances.
