Clarke Reynolds - Visually Impaired Artist Visit - October 2022
We had an inspirational visit from a local artist-Clarke Reynolds- who wowed us with his mission to make art accessible for everyone. Clarke started losing his sight at a young age but he has not let this get in the way of his incredible art work. Clarke has used braille to give people the opportunity to touch his art, and he is determined to get the world on board with his journey. Clarke visited some classes across the federation to teach them braille art, and we loved the lessons so much that we continued with this artwork in the week too! Clarke left a lasting impression on us and inspired the children to go after their dreams regardless of what might stand in their way. He is a rising star and has a big exhibition coming up, but has still promised to come back in November as our children were so fantastic and accepting. We have also been invited to his studio which is local to our school so watch this space for amazing art work!
